Patient information seminars are for people interested in learning more about minimally invasive obesity surgery...You are not pressured to pursue surgery.  The atmosphere is educational.   Seminars will start at 6 PM and last until approximately 6:50 PM.  Free refreshments are provided.  All are welcome.  Seminars will be held on dates listed below.

Support groups are held monthly on the same dates as the Bariatric Information Seminars and start at 6 PM.  All are welcome to attend.  Programs are held on relevant topics monthly. 

We prefer that you register to attend a seminar so that we may have adequate refreshments and seating arranged.  You may register by calling the Akron General Need-a-Physician line at (330) 344-2462.

Patient information seminars are held in the boardroom.  Bariatric support groups are held in the Conference Center Auditorium.
